On Tobago's eastern side there is a rather rapid rise into hills that are known as the Central Main Ridge. This is where the main rainforest is located which falls sharply to the sea, with palm fringed beaches.
If you are a bird watcher or naturalist, this misty rainforest holds treasures that are just waiting to be discovered.
Birdwatchers will enjoy a trip to Little Tobago which is located about a mile off shore.
This island is only about a mile long. Little Tobago is uninhabited and is a seabird sanctuary.
This island offers something for everyone, including surfers, people watchers, bird watchers, sun worshipers, beach bums, or romantics.
It is a great place to vacation. You are taken back to a place in time where life was conducted the right way.
A place where land is more important than profit, it's accepted to attend church on Sunday morning, and children respect their elders.
