Holiday at Guana Island
One of the biggest British Virgin Islands is Guana Island, covering 850 acres.

When you travel to the island, a boat picks you up after you've been greeted at the Beef Island airport.
The island resort has its own boat that is used to transport vacationers from the airport to the island resort.

Once you reach Guana Island, a golf cart will take you up to the Great House. Once you've been briefed on the local rules you will be shown to your room.
The Great house has just fifteen rooms that are located in white stone cottages. This means the maximum number of guests on Guana at one time is thirty.
If you are looking for a private resort for a getaway vacation or a honeymoon, then Guana Island and the Great House is perfect.
With thirty guests sharing more than 800 acres you should have plenty of privacy.
However, if you don't want to share the island with 14 other couples, you can always book the entire island for your friends and family. Wouldn't it be great to hold your wedding on a private island?
The resort on Guana Island is all inclusive. This means that you'll enjoy three meals a day. Wine is served with dinner and lunch.
You will enjoy coffee, snacks, tea, and all the activities that are offered. Even though this is a private island getaway, WiFi internet is available for those that really need it.
The rooms are very roomy and include a private terrace and separate sitting area. The views from the terrace are sure to be glorious. The bathrooms have plenty of amenities and extra large showers.
If you want the ultimate in privacy, book the North Beach Cottage. This cottage is very private, tucked away with a private beach and pool. A golf cart is provided for transportation back to the Great House.
The North Beach Cottage has a kitchenette and offers spectacular views of the Atlantic.
While this resort is all inclusive, you will have to pay for massages, beverages other than those served with meals, sunset cruises, water skiing, tennis lessons, castaway picnics, scuba diving, yoga, boat charters, and transportation to nearby islands.
While the resort is rated as a five star Caribbean resort, it is best described as rustic luxury.
If you are looking for constant entertainment and 21st century facilities, this private island getaway might not be best for you.
While Guana Island doesn't offer all the amenities that other resorts do, it is ideal for those that are looking for the prefect Caribbean honeymoon destination.
